Jonathan’s visit: Presidency denies disregarding Olubadan.

The presidency yesterday explained that its visit to some traditional rulers in the Southwest without visiting the Olubadan of Ibadan was not a show of disregard for the leader and People of Ibadan.
The Olubadan in council had alleged that the President’s decision to visit the Alaafin of Oyo and the Ooni of Ife without extending such visit to the Olubadan of Ibadan was a disregard for the leader and People of Ibadan.
But in a statement, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati said the President held the leader and People of Ibadan in very high esteem.
