Barcelona inch closer to new goalkeeper signing as Marc-Andre ter Stegen reportedly passes medical.

The Borussia Monchengladbach stopper has long been linked to the Catalan giants and looks set to replace Victor Valdes this summer

Barcelona's hunt for a successor to Victor Valdes is edging closer to completion, with Marc-Andre ter Stegen having reportedly completed a secret medical.
The highly-rated Borussia Monchengladbach stopper has long been touted as the man Los Cules want to replace Valdes, who after more than a decade as first choice has decided to leave the club this summer.
German daily Bild reports that the 21-year-old keeper has agreed to a five-year deal with the Catalan club and passed a medical.
According to Bild , when asked about the subject by a reporter, ter Stegen replied "If you say so… that's news to me", while supposedly unable to conceal a wide smile on his face.
However, it's reckoned that no formal announcement has yet been made out of respect for current No 1 Valdes, who remains with the club as they chase Champions League, La Liga and Copa del Rey glory.
