Aston Villa 4-1 Norwich City: Paul Lambert's men come from behind to thrash sorry Canaries

Christian Benteke scored twice as the hosts dispatched their visitors at Villa Park on Sunday afternoon
Aston Villa made light work of Norwich on Sunday afternoon, coming from behind to record a 4-1 win.
The away side went ahead through one-time Villa target Wes Hoolahan, but a Christian Benteke brace but Paul Lambert's men on track for an impressive win.
Hoolahan put Norwich ahead early on, scoring after just three minutes. It looked as if the Irishman was offside, but replays showed he timed his run to perfection to slot home. After a move to Villa Park fell through in January for Hoolahan, he refused to celebrate in respect of the home fans.
It took Aston Villa 25 minutes to respond, but they eventually came back with two quickfire goals courtesy of Benteke, who found his form again.
The Belgian striker struck first with a bicycle kick fro 12 yards out. Just minutes later he rose above several Norwich defenders to head home from a corner, putting Villa 2-1 up.
The hists looked like a new side, knocking round the ball comfortably in Norwich's half. After another sustained period of pressure, Bacuna put his side 3-1 up with a cool finish from a tight angle.
But it didn't stop there. Even more pressure from Villa saw the Norwich defence go to pieces, just minutes after Bacuna's effort, Bassong turned the ball into his own net to hand Aston Villa a 4-1 lead before half-time.
The pace slowed in the second period, but Lambert's side cruised to the final whistle and maximum points.
